Jason Richards serves as the Regional Authority Director for the Utah Police Tactical Association (UPTA), where he is a key member of the executive board. In this role, Jason coordinates regional representatives, spearheads recruitment to grow UPTA’s membership, and organizes top-tier training opportunities for law enforcement professionals throughout Utah. His leadership and commitment strengthen UPTA’s mission to advance tactical skills and foster collaboration within the law enforcement community.
As a Regional Sales Manager at Curtis Blue Line, the law enforcement division of L.N. Curtis & Sons, Jason leverages over 25 years of experience and his background as a retired law enforcement officer. His deep understanding of law enforcement challenges enables him to forge strong relationships with clients and peers. Jason was instrumental in establishing Curtis Blue Line, building it into a leading provider of uniforms, equipment, and services for law enforcement agencies across 13 Western states. He also founded the Mountain States SWAT Training & Competition, a critical initiative to provide advanced training for tactical officers and raise charitable contributions for the Utah 1033 Foundation to support the families of fallen officers
