UPDATE: Registration for the 2020 Utah 1033 “Virtual” Ride has now ended. Huge, huge thanks to all who participated!
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in the interest of public health, The Utah 1033 Foundation is unfortunately not able to host a group Utah 1033 Ride in 2020. The entire team at The Utah 1033 Foundation is incredibly saddened not to hold our largest annual event in 2020, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t continue our tradition at some level. To that end, we proudly offer the 2020 Utah 1033 “Virtual” Ride. Here’s how it’ll work.
Starting on July 1st, 2020, riders are welcome to visit South Valley Harley-Davidson, at 8886 Sandy Pkwy in Sandy, Utah, during their current business hours of 9am to 6pm Tuesdays through Fridays and 9am to 5pm on Saturdays. While supplies last, in exchange for the traditional $25 fee, riders will receive a commemorative 2020 Utah 1033 Ride pin, a neck gator bearing the Utah 1033 Ride and Harley-Davidson logos, and a coupon for $10 total worth of food and beverage at Wasatch Bagel & Grill or Tarahumara Restaurant in Park City, Utah (valid through September 30th, 2020). Riders may then potentially take a motorcycle Ride on a date, time, and route of their choice.
And be sure to take pictures… and post ’em! Compare your Rides and your stories! And tag us on Facebook! While not the same experience as an escorted group Ride, it’s still an opportunity to highlight a ridership community that remembers and honors Utah’s fallen heroes while raising money for a worthy cause. Plus, for you multi-year participants in The Utah 1033 Ride, this is your opportunity to ensure an unbroken string in your annual pin collection — make sure you don’t have a 2020 “pin gap”!
South Valley Harley-Davidson will also have limited numbers of Utah 1033 Ride T-shirts ($20) and 2018 pins ($5) available for sale. Is your old shirt worn out? Do you need a 2018 “motorcycle” pin to go with your 2019 and 2020 “chevron” pins? They’ve got you covered!
For those who are unable to visit South Valley Harley-Davidson, we are also able to process participation fees and shipments of the commemorative pin, neck gator, and restaurant coupon online using the PayPal button below (again, while supplies last). The online participation fee price is $10 higher to cover Paypal processing fees and shipping and handling costs. We will be processing online orders and shipments in periodic batches; please allow two to four weeks for your order to arrive at your specified shipping address. We’re also very new to the shipping logistics game (as in, we’ve never done it before), so please notify us of any issues, and please be kind and patient with us. (Utah 1033 Ride T-Shirts and 2018 pins are not available online; those items must be purchased at South Valley Harley-Davidson.)
Thank you so much for your interest in supporting The Utah 1033 Foundation and its mission! We hope for a great Utah 1033 “Virtual” Ride participation level in 2020, and we very much hope to ride with you again as a group in 2021!

And, finally, a huge, huge thank you to all of our 2020 “Virtual” Utah 1033 Ride sponsors!
(Motorcycle riding is an inherently dangerous activity that may result in serious injury or death. The Utah 1033 Foundation, a Utah nonprofit corporation, encourages all riders who participate in the 2020 Utah 1033 “Virtual” Ride to use good judgment in selecting the timing of, and the route for, the Ride. Please ensure that your motorcycle is in safe operating condition, wear a helmet and other appropriate protective gear, use hand signals, and obey all traffic laws. You should not participate in the Ride unless you are duly licensed and competent to operate a motorcycle in a safe manner. Be safe and enjoy the Ride.)
