The Utah Peace Officers Association
presents
The Fallen Officer Trail Ride
On April 20, 2013 the Utah Peace Officers Association will unveil The Fallen Officer Trail Ride near Moab, UT. You are invited to bring your off-road vehicle to the event.
Fallen Officers’ names will be posted along the trail, as well as the names of critically wounded officers.
Ride With Respect has worked with Utah State Park Ranger Brody Young to have this trail named for the heroes who serve and those who have given their all. Young was shot multiple times in November 2010 while checking on a suspicious vehicle. Young has since returned to duty.
The memorial dedication will begin at 9 am on Saturday, April 20th at the Fallen Peace Officer Trailhead (mile marker 141 on Highway 191). The dedication will be open to pedestrian traffic only. Event parking will be available at the Dalton Wells parking area and shuttle buses will be available. It is a short 2 mile bus ride from the parking area to the dedication site.
